Solar Training & Ultra Tapering Time.

Hey all, I am about 10 days away from GTR 100 and ready to toe the line :-) Goal is to Finish under the cutoff time (36 hours) while keeping up on my fuel...

ok BS,
truth be told & always want to keep it real with my bloggers, MY Truth Goal is 30 hours! With all the climbing and high altitude this will be a good push/test for this FL boy to get it done in 30, my promise is to give it my best & then some more ! !

On the business front, I have Solar Energy Training all week on how to market solar effectively here in Sunny FL -- Woo Hoo I partnered up with a well established company in South Florida. They mostly concentrated on pool heaters in the past but recently have had great success on their Solar Products... Hot water heaters & Photovoltaic (PV) roofing for both residential & commercial sectors.

So it's time for Bob to plug homes into the Sun, one family at a time...and throw in a few businesses too!

My blogtime will be limited as I get up to speed on solar but will do my best to stop by and see how your doing & Say HI :-)

Steppin' Up & Forward,

Bob
PS: My shortest post to date -- haha

9 Days 22 Hours

Maybe you should bring some of those solar panels and somehow strap them to you back, and connect them to your body to give you the boost you need during the run !

Bob,

I'm really proud of you for venturing into the realm of solar products. I know your goal is to make money, but I also think there's an altruistic element to your new cause. Thanks for being willing to step forward and go green. ;)

Good luck at GTR, Bob! Though I can't be there, I will be thinking of you all day on Saturday and Sunday. This race is yours if you run smart and gut it out.

Love,
Meghan

Sounds good (and green), but honestly man, I'm a little disappointed that you're putting blogging on the back burner. Once my son gets old enough to sell lemonade, no more of this job crap.

Good luck at the Tetons!

I am glad to hear that you have got all the training under your belt and are now tapering for your race. The solar thing sounds interesting, hope you learn a lot, and a great time to do it, when you are tapering.

Congrats on the business opportunity and good luck! :)

Bob, good luck with your solar training, and also with your taper as you prepare for the GTR 100. Be sure to keep fueling up on all of those groceries that you got such a good deal on! :)

Seriously, enjoy the taper, and best wishes to you!

Good luck at GTR!

I hear the course is beautiful. Tough, but the mountains provide the beauty!

I am sure you will do well and we'll all be rooting for you and wishing you all the best at GTR.

Tammy

P.S. Good luck also on the solar energy front...when you branch out to Maryland give me heads up, based on my repeated sunburns this summer, we should also be named the sunshine state:-)
